The Overburden Casing System, also known as the Eccentric Casing System, is an ideal solution for drilling water wells, geothermal wells, short micropiles, and medium mini-type grouting holes for buildings and diamond harbour projects.
The Eccentric system represents the most economical solution due to its ingenious reaming wing. The bit is fully retrievable and can be reused for subsequent drilling projects.
During the drilling process, the reamer bit rotates outward to enlarge the hole, providing sufficient space for the casing tube to slide down behind it. Once the required depth is reached, the drill pipe rotates in the reverse direction, causing the reamer bit to retract. This mechanism allows the entire drilling system to pass safely through the casing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the main applications for the ODEX190 system?
The ODEX190 is primarily used for drilling water wells, geothermal wells, short micropiles, and grouting projects in various construction environments.
Is the Eccentric Casing System bit reusable?
Yes, the system is designed so that the bit is retrievable. Once the casing is set, the bit can be pulled back and used for the next hole, making it highly economical.
What types of rock formations can this system handle?
The ODEX190 is versatile and suitable for soft, middle, and hard rock formations, providing reliable performance across diverse geological conditions.
What size hammer is recommended for the ODEX190?
For the ODEX190 model, a 6-inch DTH hammer is recommended to ensure optimal drilling efficiency.
What materials are used to ensure the durability of the bits?
The bits feature high-grade tungsten carbide inserts and bodies made from high-strength steel, processed through CNC machinery and specialized heat treatments.
How is the product packaged for international shipping?
All units are packed in sturdy ply-wooden cases and placed on pallets to prevent damage during air, sea, or express transport.
