The HXGP series Heavy-Duty Belt Feeders are designed to withdraw fines or wet materials from hoppers, bins, or stock pipes accurately and reliably. They serve as a critical link in feeding downstream systems like screens, crushers, and conveyors in demanding industrial environments.
The HXGP series belt feeder delivers material through a controlled process involving a hopper, gate, and a special wear-resistant, anti-tear, impact-resistant skirted conveyor belt. Bulk material falls from the hopper onto the moving belt. The bin pressure is managed by impact-resistant support rollers and retaining plates beneath the belt. The drive unit powers the belt via a drive pulley, with speeds controlled by a variable frequency motor (VFD) for uniform feeding.
